Grey day
a pause – deserved
allow us to be lazy
stay in bed
candlelight in corners 
eat Christmas candy
before time

bake a cake with oranges
nuts and raisins
or maybe we could 
lie close together
in puppy-bunch entangled
watch a romantic movie
or two
cuddle a little 
tell fairytales 
read poetry
dream of
wonders
warmth from 
fireplace
crawl inside skin
to blush
play picnic 
on floor
drink wine
let time go slow 
mind focused on
nothing 
at all
together
