Blue

Blue is colour of love and spirituality. Blue light is one of seven colours in the visible light-spectre. The wave-length of blue is similar to the electromagnetic wave from throat.
Throat is centre for expression, listening – the sounds that we hear and create. We all know the feeling that something is stock in throat, it´s hard to say, difficult to let out the words, a scream or tone. Try to stand in front of a mirror, look direct into your own eyes and say loud and tender: I love you. Is it easy?

Blue has a wave length on 450-500 nm (nanno-meter), so it belongs to the fast and cold part of the electromagnetic field of the visible light.
Colours in light and material colours are two different things, but since we only have one word for both, colour, many think it is the same.

A colored surface has the property that it can reflect the full color spectrum of light, with the exception of the exact color we see, as an example blue. It means that the colour we see change character (even change colour) depending on the light.

Throat is posited right between heart/body and head. When the activity between heart and brain is balanced, it is easy for us to communicate with others, listen to others, easy for us to express feelings and to be understood.
If we are mostly in our busy-mind and have less contact to body and feelings, things can get blocked in throat. Blue light helps to loosen up for a block.

Throat is centre for any sort of expression: verbal, emotional, sexual, intuitive, creative, spiritual – and love. It´s the centre for balance and for the wisdom of cause-and-effect. As kids we learn that what we express has consequences and that we must be responsible for what we do. It is through throat centre we have contact with our will and power of creation.
